Jackson James is three months old today! The "fourth trimester" that folks like Dr. Harvey Karp (The Happiest Baby On The Block) and Kaiser talk about is complete. Based on our observations, we'd have to say we agree with the theory, partly because, as if on cue, as if "full" gestation is now complete, little J is coming ALIVE. Tonight, between noisy sucks on his fingers and thumb, becoming ever more aggressive so that I shake him and call him Tiger, he vocalized in all sorts of pitches, keys and moods. It cracked us up and delighted us to no end. Of course, when I decided to pull out my camera, he was done.
As an historical footnote: Jackson has slept from 10pm to 7am...STRAIGHT...the past TWO nights. We hope this is a trend that'll continue...forever. *Smile*
